Curious about your analysis Anon?

My basic idea is to estimate a price for a set of API requests (ideally all, though that's *nearly* an intractable problem), then sum prices according to expected number of calls over time. Problem is, there's a lot of spread in both price and request frequency, and estimates are arbitrary unless backed up with data, which takes some resources to collect

Simpler version is to just assume an average price per request and a fixed request rate, then extrapolate to your desired date. Will work, though not quite as fun IMO

The worst part is first you have to endure the faggots shilling for "muh sell the news" then you have to endure the same faggots fudding doing "muh market manipulation" to buy back in lower, when the reality is that they have zero effect on the price (as demonstrated during the Bithumb listing FUDfest) and it literally just means that /biz has to deal with two rounds of faggotry from the same people for no reason at all.

Okay so my analysis is kinda based on voodoo TA and other assumptions, but if you still want to hear it:

To start we have to go back to summer 2017. In June 2017, smartcontract.com completed their POC with SWIFT. Once they were sure their product had a future, they prepared and 2.5 months later they had the ICO. Between October and February (alpha node release), the team created a plan for how they were going to do things, tested different routes to take and decided to rewrite the whole project in Go.

It's my hunch that the team set a deadline to have main net released within a year of the alpha node's release.

There's concept in crypto called the 'J-curve' where assets spike when they're first released in a burst of hype, die down and flatline, and then progressively go on to reach many multiples of their previous ATH (pic related). If you look at LINK's chart, it looks like we're at the bottom of the cycle, and it seems like late spring-summer would be when to expect to be near another peak. This build-up begins as the team gets closer to having a working product and actual value is being built. I believe that all these smaller partnership announcements are the first stage in the build-up to the big spike of the 'J' (aka the singularity). I would break down the timeline like this:

>small partnerships announced
>marketing campaign is being built behind the scenes
>more and more public presence
>code is nearing completion
>code and contract audit
>big partners announce
>main net launches, marketing begins
>word gets out about chainlink
>price begins to move several dollars a day

Unironically, I think that pic that circulated a lot last Jan showing that huge spike will be very similar to how 2019 will turn out. I think that at the peak between April and August, Chainlink could hit $20-50 before correcting.

Also, I think main net is between October and February.
