Meh I didn't watch any news for any of the companies, I merely took the best performing stocks of the past 20-30 years with the smallest crash drawdown and grossely skimmed through their financials on morningstar, mainly looking their valuation ratios (pe, pb and ps) and debt to equity.

So I wouldn't call that really looking hard for an entry, I plan on keeping them about 1.5 years before recession indicators possibly turn bearish.
