but i need approval of uni.

Call me retarded but an internship is not a full paying job, you don't have to have experience. Interns are there to learn and possibly after a couple of weeks you can let them roam around and do their own work.
You don't need job experience to be an intern, atleast not from my experiences.

I did a couple of internships when I was in school and ofcourse you need to know the basics of the line of work you're in college for but honestly internship isn't that big of a deal, every company has their own way of how they handle things.
Like I said, just contact some companies ask them if they have an internship open for the thing you're in college for and have a decent CV ready to mail them. If they ask for it and just go from there

If you’re studying a non-meme degree at a decent college then I’m sure companies are contacting students for internships through university Facebook groups, university intranet, booths at your university etc. no? If not, then just contact relevant companies. It’s that easy. If you got decent grades and you’re not studying some meme degree then it’s easy to get a decent internship.
