I made off with 3x my buyin (about $600) at an underground poker club tonight.

Tomorrow I'm buying $100 worth of fancy feast to feed homeless cats in Yonkers.

Is this a good use of the money?

A cat will never love you back the way you love the cat.

A good use is a phone for your cousin Niko to warn you that the loansharks are out front

Those homeless cats eat, don't worry. They don't need or care about you.

There's this one cat that followed me around when I was staying at a homeless shelter there. I'm going to try to find her.

Also there was this guy who only fed one of the cats when I was there, and the other cats would try to steal the food because they were so hungry.

I'm going to go bring the one that followed me around home with me if I can find her.

Got a name for her?

The people at the shelter called her "Mission." So I guess that's her name.

If it makes you happy.

I think it's nice of you, anon.
But I also think you could put that 100 into something that'll help you get off the street and cook meals for cats in your own home someday.
The cats will survive. You are in a more cruel and harsh world than they are.

>Is this a good use of the money?

it is if it makes you feel good

i'm 38, have come to the realization that while life is worth living and has many moments of great joy, ultimately nothing truly matters. You can't take your success or wealth with you when you die. The most important thing you can have while living is good health and mobility - I had a couple health problems over the last 2 years, I'd trade any amount of money (millions, tens of millions) if I could just feel like I was 18 again, and really I'm not even that old, I'm sure this feeling is amplified as you reach your 50s and 60s.

So if feeding cats makes you feel good, fulfills you, then ya do it, everything's a money sink anyway whether it's a nice car, fancy apartment, expensive watch, new shoes, might as well add cat food to the list, it's the same shit.

Were your health problems avoidable? I'm 24 and fat as fuck. Worried I'm gonna get diabetus when I'm 30, but I care about making money more than focusing on my health.

Whatever makes you feel good. Not like you're going anywhere in life anyways.
