Regardless, learn terms, research companies, and establish your own criteria for a company to invest in (price, are they making a profit, have they been stable for 3 months, etc. Everyone has their own, some work some don't). If you want to thrive, learn about trend analysis. I'm doing fairly well and I'd hardly consider myself a pro. As long as you have a brain, you can survive in the market honestly. I use tradingview for searching for stocks and paper trading when I feel unsure about certain stocks to monitor their progress. All free and quite useful. If I had to give any last advice

So I've been following this stock for a few years. My intial purchases were <$2 and now it's at about $13. This shit is fixing to explode.

Clinuvel is an Australian biotech. The company has no debt. They have released a product in Europe two years ago and it is treating a rare disease called EPP. It's not a huge market but it gives them profits so they don't need external funding.

They have filed NDA in USA last year and are expecting approval this year. This will instantly double their revenue at least. The next indication that they are looking for is treatment of Vitiligio. Thta's the skin pigmentation disorder that Micheal Jackson made famous. This market will be huge compared to EPP. Rockstar growth.

Beyond this I fully expect to see off market uses for tanning. Anyway, just thought I'd give /biz/ a heads up. If you're into stocks you should look it up.
