Why can't I ever go on vacation to the beach without hearing at least one Jimmy Buffet song? Surely even the beach bums would get tired of that shit eventually.

It was Geico, which originally stood for Goverment Employees Insurance Company. It was a pretty smart investment, government employees have stable jobs/lifestyles and tend to be good insurance customers.

Buffet badly underperformed in 2009 (-20%), underperformed in 2011 (-5%), and has eeked out small wins in 2012 and 2013 that even Warren himself called "subpar." He's behind the S&P on a 5-year chart.

That's a lot of fucking fees collected to underperform an index over 5 years. His best days are behind him

Apple underperformed X in the year Y

You think somebody gives a fuck who held the shares since 2004?
