You need a team of at least 5-10 highly autistic/skilled coders to develop what ChainLink is trying to achieve.

>You have Sergey, Rory, some random github fags and a head of marketing who is ashamed of the entire brand and what it represents.

ChainLink is a stupid mistake. Wait for a single pump and dump it all.

If it ever pumps lmao

1) They are trying to create an API from scratch to connect the blockchain and the outside world, something that has never been done before.
2) They are trying to force the usage of a token economy to make it work.

Those two points can be summarized into a single phrase: ChainLink will never happen, or if it happens, it won't work for shit.

Literally it's doomed to fail, there is not enough autistic brain power to make it work.

Have you ever read the whitepaper? It's a fucking shitshow.

Listen I genuinely care about about Anons financial well being. Its hard as shit to get ahead in life now, not just working 9-5 for the rest of your life. The sooner you start saving the sooner you can get ahead in life.

Chainlink is a meme started by 4chan (an infamous trolling board) to lead people to financial ruin. This is NOT A JOKE. Don't let your saved wealth be thrown away over night.

Vitalik Buterin the creator of ethereum said himself the days of making x100 or x1000 are over, that right the guy who created the second most popular crypto said himself those days are over.

Now 4chan is trying to get people to lose even more money after the December/January bloodbath. Smart money already exited the crypto world. Crypto is basically a highly specialized database, companies don't need this. They will just create their own private blockchains. There is no need for crypto chainlink isn't even needed to run the nodes. Think XRP when you think chainlink. The company ripple (smartcontracts) is doing well but the coin XRP(chainlink) isn't even needed for the companies technology.

Considering what Vitalik said "The days of making x100 or x1000 returns are over." Chainlink needs a 399900% increase in price over the next couple of months to reach $1000 this is ludicrous. Don't fall for it, chainlink its a meme to fuck you over.

Consider this for chainlink at current price to reach $1 you need an increase of 700% or a 233% increase every month until EOY.

This is a 4chan meme to siphon money out of the hands of the already vulnerable.

There are no promising "oracle solutions" and, if there is one, it's certainly not like ChainLink at all.

Look, forcing a token economy to "pump" the value of your utility token is a stupid idea, it doesn't work. Worst of all, Link cannot accomplish anything unless you code EACH PARTICULAR CASE INDIVIDUALLY. Yes, this is true, look at the whitepaper.

Chainlink will never happen dude. Wait for a pump and then just get out, this is a bear market, and Link is an awful bet.

Why not just created a standardized response structure for APIs with signed messages from a private key owned by whoever's running the API. Owner of the API discloses public keys where necessary. You could then have anyone push these responses into smart contracts, which would validate the signer of the message. No need of oracles at all with this setup.

There's nothing to prove here, I just think that the white paper doesn't contemplate how hard it is to design a reputation system that can't be exploited. I've been trying to come up within my own reputation system and I'm aware of how difficult it is to solve problems like reputation inflation or reputation farming.

So things are more complicated than what the white paper describes. A reputation system should be a project on its own. That's why I agree with OP that you need a much larger team to pull this off.
