How does the skybox work with existing coin? It's too cheap to be worth running their mining box.

>> No.11032485

because the skyminer is bullshit. build one yourself, the throughput is ass.

dont know who made this, but this is not from the skycoin team. it looks like a third party making DIY miners and selling them at x3 the production cost.

dont buy this

Okay well if the real skyminer is so damn next level, why are they not selling massive amounts of their kits? They just let you subscribe to a waiting list with no information on how to become a skyminer. Also its very hard to find any information doing google search of people who actually mine the skycoin? Just how is "a new internet" going to overtake bitcoin when it doesn't seem to be a currency at all.

Because they are doing them by hand inhouse atm, they are scaling up but they are doing a lot at the same time and skyminer production isnt their focus now, its Skywire, CX, CXO and Obelisk, after that it will be Skyminers

you fell for buzzwords and rhetoric hook line and sinker. woulndt be surprised if youve bought off informercials before too. skycoin is a solution in search of a problem.

lol, show me a better way to i/o for bandwidth, processing and storage for $500

>24 arm cores, across eight cpus
>16GB ram
>128GB storage
>800mbps

Don't forget that you'll need multiple storage devices in a raid0 to match storage speeds.

Yeah, be careful with that site.

The thing about this coin that gives me those ASMR buy tingles is that everyone wants to fuck this project over. The marketing team, that CEO poser guy, this crazy person selling fake miners, the dude that will shows up in every thread to screech about curry and whine about consensus, etc.

It's so much of a clusterfuck that I took a closer look at the team and what they're doing. Glad I did.

skycoin is just as much of a currency as any other altcoin. ISP independence is required because the original goal of skycoin was to make a 100% decentralized cryptocurrency, and that cant be done if youre using a censored internet connection.

>> No.11033180

If skycoin is so great, it won't drop. If they really have the innovation to back it up, the demand should follow. But that's a big if.
