Your perception of when the next bull run is will depend on when you bought between the Jan 2017 and the bottom. In the last bull run it started when bitcoin bottomed out around $200 but if you were holding bags that you bought at 1k it didn't start until Jan 2017.

My idiot amature opinion is that 5.8k is the bottom and we have already started recovery. A recovery isn't a straight line up so it'll bounce up and start making higher highs and lower lows for a while until it breaks 20k in a year or so, then all hell will break loose.

We could possibly go lower but it looks like 5.8k is the point where more people are buying than selling. I couldn't say for alts tho. They massively out performed bitcoin in the last bull run so my assumption is that they've got another 50-75% more to lose.
