Who is going to use Ch*inlink when Ethereum can't scale? Like what fortune 500 company would want to operate on the ethereum blockchain? It is way too slow and expensive (gas cost). What makes you think smart contracts will ever see mainstream adoption in enterprises?

Nope, it actually doesn't. You'd have to take time to actually integrate it to the specific platform. Algorithm/logic might be the same, but the code itself would have to be rewritten.

Listen I genuinely care about about Anons financial well being. Its hard as shit to get ahead in life now, not just working 9-5 for the rest of your life. The sooner you start saving the sooner you can get ahead in life.

Chainlink is a meme started by 4chan (an infamous trolling board) to lead people too financial ruin. This is NOT A JOKE. Don't let your saved wealth be thrown away over night.

Vitalik Buterin the creator of ethereum said himself the days of making x100 or x1000 are overnight are over, that right the guy who created the second most popular crypto said himself those days are over.

Now 4chan is trying to get people to lose even more money after the December/January bloodbath. Smart money already exited the crypto world. Crypto is basically a highly specialized database, companies don't need this. They will just create their own private blockchains. There is no need for crypto, chainlink isn't even needed to run the nodes. Think XRP when you think chainlink. The company ripple (smartcontracts) is doing well but the coin XRP(chainlink) isn't even needed for the companies technology.

Considering what Vitalik said "The days of making x100 or x1000 returns are over." Chainlink needs a 399900% increase in price over the next couple of months to reach $1000 this is ludicrous. Don't fall for it, chainlink its a meme to fuck you over.

Consider this for chainlink at current price to reach $1 you need an increase of 700% or a 233% increase every month until EOY.

This is a 4chan meme to siphon money out of the hands of the already vulnerable.

The price of LINK holding on relatively well in this market is actually a bad sign. It indicates that most of the circulating supply is not held by investors/traders, but by the devs themselves.

Okay this is actually decent FUD.

~75% of all LINK tokens are held by either the devs or Binance.
1. I honestly believethat based on his character, Sergey would never dump on us. If he needed to sell he'd do it over time. That's just my opinion.
2. Even if the majority of the supply is circulating, by my calculations LINK can still reach several hundred dollars.
3. Tokens aren't solely used for payment, but also staking, meaning that a significant portion will remain locked in nodes as collateral for extended periods of time. This will significantly diminish the circulating supply.
4. 350MM tokens are reserved for 'incentivizing node operators' meaning that they aren't the teams to spend. No one is certain of their fate, but the vast majority, if given to big entities, will likely not be circulating.

Thanks man, I honestly have no idea. I'm not sure what the exact plan is but it seems like there are two options:
1.If they intend to distribute it to business who want to use the network they'll basically be held indefinitely or spent to pay node operators.
2. They'll be used to pay node operators directly to the get the network up and running.

One of us should ask Thomas about it. I've been hesitating because it's probably the last thing on their plate at the moment. Essentially, the worst case scenario is (if all node operators were to stake and all received the equally proportional rewards, in the very very long-run) we would see the supply 2x but our stacks 2x as well from staking rewards.

Watch this video and pay close attention to 0:13 - 1:08. Thomas made this before he worked for Chainlink and he explains why the company is kinda trying to stay in the background until the time is right.

Customers will not pay with Link, they will pay with Fiat .. Node operators will be rewarded with Link, which they can then sell for Fiat. As adoption increases, and with it demand as a result of increasing nodes, so will the price of Link. Side note, most likely SWIFT holds a huge stack of that 650K that are not in circulation, which will increase in value while they are being held. Swift makes a killing off Link.

it's 100% not true either. Binance sent a rep to the slack who got in touch to ask permission, and CZ has said many times they only list with permission and he seems like a pretty above board guy. Not to mention the team has since sent to and presumably sold many tokens on Binance. If they wanted to sell to fund development they could have sold on etherdelta.
