I sold all my Eth last night for about $190 each, how badly did I fuck up? Not sure whether to fomo back in.

Definitely don't buy back. Wait for it to go to new ATH before buying, so that you can sell low during the next bust cycle.

I really think your post is redundant. OP is already a pro at going to 0.

i think you made good decision, ETH tanking again, now ETH is $ 198

i think next stop to ETH is $ 150

Good job OP. Buy high, sell low. Then buy back in when it goes a little higher. Then sell again after it dumps harder. The /biz/ way.

>> No.11011985

It seems like a bad move today, but in the future you'll be pleased to with your decision.

>> No.11011994

Why sell if you ever had any desire to buy back in at a future price point?

Like, even if you bought at $170, you' be doing so on the idea that it's going back up - selling or holding has the same outcome.

Human mind is so dumb

If you bought EOS or BTC with it you'll be fine. If you sold for fiat you'll also be fine since ETH is going to double digits pretty soon, but it's suboptimal.

I just moved most of my stack into ETH.
Reasons
- New lows usually result in some sort of bounce back. Sometimes strong, sometimes weak (aka dead cat), but 9 times out of 10, there is a retrace.
- Shorts on BITFINEX are at an all time high. A slightly increase in value and short squeeze is inevitable. I dunno why people short at the bottom. The r/r is so weak.
- Too many companies depend on ETH maintaining / increasing in value. Companies with way more capital and ability to market make beyond whales + bitmain.

I've sold off alot of my alts into ETH to buy back in. My plan is to keep lowering my sell price on the alt/eth pair to catch the reverse. Put 50% back in BTC / 50% in USDT. May net me 10%, may net me 100%. Dunno.

Only reason to dump ETH right now is if you fundamentally believe it is worthless.Which maybe it is. But I don't think so.

Godspeed anons.

This. If you know anything about trading you know about sympathy plays.
You know that btc and eth mirror one another. You know that btc has been dumping so eth has been dumping. You know that if btc Barts up, eth will Bart up. And, you should know, that because eth dumped much harder than btc, it will bounce harder as well once people start fomoing back in

This is how you have to think of it. I've been buying eth since 400 USD, I have another order at 175.

Who gives a shit where the price is now? Think to the future. When eth is back at 1k USD, you think I'm gonna be sad that I bought at 400 and then the price went to 190? Maybe only a tiny bit that I bought half as much as I could have. But fuck it

It will keep going down, until it doesn't. It's down from 1300 to 200, unless you really truly believe that it is going to 0, I don't think it smart to short. You have a much better opportunity to profit by going long at 200 hoping for 1300 again, than going short at 200 going to 0

You did good. Worst case is it stops at $150 and you made an extra ~20% on your ETH stack if you buy back.

Normal and most likely case: it goes sub 3 digits and the predicted really hard rebounce will happen once it crosses $80 and you more than double your ETH stack.

If it goes back to ATH, you won't have x but 2x. Well done.

I hope you used it to buy Holo because that’s the only way you’ll see big gains. Otherwise, getting out at $190 wasn’t too bad. It’s going to head back below those levels soon as it dies.

If you really think this shitcoin that can’t do what it’s supposed to do and only made it to $1k because of ICOs during the Bubble is ever going back to $1,000, you are retarded. Even Vitalik has said it should be priced in the single digits and sold most of his own stack at $8. ETH is going to slowly bleed back to double digits and die. Why the fuck would it ever retrace?

Why do penny stocks pump +1000% even though they're all shit companies?
Because of fomo. It doesn't matter what you're investing in as long as normies have the herd mentality of "I have to buy now quickly because it's going to the moon". A herd mentality like that can even cause the price of tulips to cost as much as a house

Now this is what I call REAL FUD.
I got in in 2017, May and in August. I remember september last year.
TA can suck my dick. Ive spent countless hours scalping. I have seen many rebounds.
The rebound after a capitulation is 100% real. Weak hand shaking, in biz terms. I think thats exactly what we are seeing. Arthur wants to see volatily. smart guys want to stack eth and get a Master Node.
Nobody is your friend here.
