Do you not understand the amount of resources it takes to create a fully functioning side chain that works on a separate network of BP's? The vast majority of dapps will stay on the main net and that's why the token will remain valuable. Side chains exist as an option. They won't be very common.

Dapps will go to the cheapest place. Why would you pay for main eosram if it's 100x cheaper elsewhere, and user experience is the same? Those that don't need eos accounts can migrate the easily, those that need users to have eos accounts only need a network that can communicate with the main one (which is supposed to be very easy).

Main network appears destined to be a settlement network for tokens.
