Im older than you all. Significently older. You might not believe me thats fine. Im 86 years old. Do you know what I was doing at your age? I was working in the drive in, serving burgers and shakes. Ive got a lot to teach you. Am a retired janitor believe or not. Custodial at a high school. Now all this fancy technology my grandson got me into. I dont know which one to buy but it sure does remind me of the race tracks back in the day, or the stock exchange when you had to hand off sheets of paper to make a trade. Sure does remind me of that. Now its all global. I know what youre thinking. That ive got one foot in the grave and what does he know, his life is over, he doesnt matter. But you think I dont want to be rich even at my ripe old age? You think I dont have hopes and dreams too? That I dont want to leave something special for the people I leave behind? I want it as much as you do even at my age. truth be told i am jealous of you. Youve got your whole lives ahead of you. All my life I wanted to go back to the last ten years and relive them. That never does change. Anyway I dont know why im writing this. Doubt anyone will read the confessions of an old man, or care much, but hopefully youll remember these wise words some day. Handing the computer back to my grandson now.
