If you think this is a suckers rally then you have just proven this chart right.

Hi guys - I'm back, so I'm assuming it's where OP says it is - I'm somewhat uncanny at this stuff.

>> No.10926191

imagine that there are people waiting for it to hit 4k since last september so they can finally buy, instead of trading.

Why does everyone keep saying this shit?
We need to get back to 3-4k before we see 20k again....But fucking why?
Do you want to buy cheaper?
If we get back down to 3-4k i don't think we'll get back to 20k for a long ass time possibly never again.

>> No.10927079

>>10926955
Do you understand what would need to occur for that to happen? 90,000 in 4 months? Suddenly every person on the planet would have to decide to throw their life savings into it for that to happen.

>> No.10927092

>>10927079
Nope, just big institutional investors making big moves in.

>> No.10927098

>>10927079
you're so fucking retarded a whale can trade a 1$ asset for millions and the price will not move because he knows how to manipulate it. normies just fomo on the higher price and always drive it up. also if you think you need normies to see bitcoin a 1m you are deluded. 1% of the population owns 99% of the wealth. retard.

>> No.10927109

>>10927079
Hardly. 100k = 1.5T mcap. Supposedly a coin's cap increases by apprx $10 for every $1 of actual new money thrown at it. So we'd only need 150 billion or so to flow in. That's $20 per person on average.

almost but you got the wrong peak and an arbitrary invalid starting point for your curve so it sucks ass.

>> No.10927142

>>10927098
whales don't just fucking buy if there's no interest moron. they want public interest, big money drives the market only if the normies fomo in, and for that to push the price up 90k would require everyone wanting in.

>> No.10927147

>>10927117
this makes no sense lmao

>> No.10927160

>>10927147
yes it does double peak like always before first at 20k second at 100k you have to track the bigger to get the real curvature of baseline valuation. this of course corrects the invalid assumption about the cycles getting longer they are tied to halvings they don't get longer.

>> No.10927191

>>10927160
I mean it would be nice if it happened...but I really doubt we'll reach 100k by the beginning of 2019. There is no catalyst for such a rapid rise and ETFs or whatever won't increase the market cap by 900billion lol

>> No.10927214

>>10927191
i'm fairly certain it will happen. the when is less important to me tho. i buy and buy under $10k and when btc hits $1mil in a few years i cash out.

>> No.10927278

>>10927191
market cap is not as important a number as you seem to think. it certainly doesn't equal to the amount of cash flown into the market by a long shot. but actually if the sec looks like it's gonna approve a btc etf next year it could be the catalyst for a huge bubble.
https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-etf-decision-come-2019/
not sure how accurate this speculation is but it coincides with the timeline.

>> No.10927316

>>10927214
you really think bitcoin will hit 15 trillion marketcap? im not a bear either but it would have to improve a ton for that to ahppen.

>> No.10927352

>>10927316
the truth is increasing market cap is the finest catalyst for btc to improve. but also it's widespread adoption literally depends on the market cap growing. there is not enough btc around for everyone to use it at current prices. it has to go to at least $500k to replace gold as an investment vehicle and hedge. but it should be a lot more than that. say ln works out and commerce picks up btc. it's fucking impossible under $1mil per btc.

>> No.10927358

>>10927316
Marketcap is simply what the last sucker paid for bitcoin...volume is a better indicator.

>> No.10927380

>>10927358
Volume tells us absolutely nothing about value without the context of the market cap.

>> No.10927412

i'm fairly certain sec will eventually approve btc etf they just want the market cap to gow despite and not because of their decision. that will show the asset is mature and resists manipulation better. which should satisfy their primary complaint about it.

now that an etf is good for bitcoin or bad that's different. short term it will spike the price i have no doubt. long term it will be suppressive. but maybe that's needed for long term stability. who knows.

ETFs like Futures are used to suppress the price, there is no way hedge funds and big banks will go long on Bitcoin, it's their rat poison

banks don't give a fuck about anything so long they can make money on it. if they can sell derivatives of btc and it will be a hot item they will love it.

>> No.10927669

>>10927445
btw wb called btc rat poison because he doesn't see the value it creates. the old man don't see sovereignty over your money and transfers or being a conductive medium to commerce a value for some unfathomable reason. banks just want you to invest with them or through them and run your money through them. if you send a lot of money to exchanges the bank makes dough on that. it loves you for doing it. don't be delusional. and if ln becomes a serious reality who do you think will be the biggest hubs and easiest entry points?

I feel like most people are underestimating how bullish $BTC is right now, they keep trying to short it. This may be the last opportunity in 2018 for longing cheap. Why short this chance? It's a gift. Many are going to feel pretty stupid soon.
