Do companies move people into positions with no training to try and fire them is my boss mindfucking me or is my boss just really incompetent and cheap?

It's like fucking someone in the ass to watch them squirm out of discomfort

It's management style. Always better to give Anon jobs the boss knows inside he cannot do. Anon works his hardest at impossible tasks. Fucks some things up. Still accomplishes work. Shoot for the moon, land in the stars. Anon never feels like he's got shit handled and constantly strives to find equilibrium. Anon becomes ideal worker.

It's retarded but too many normies are also retarded and are deathly afraid of losing their jobs so they let managers boss them around and they will bend over backwards to keep their shit jobs. I've seen it myself.

They're too cheap to train employees but don't want to admit their policies are at fault for untrained employees performance

yes this is very likely intentional.

by keeping you dumb and uninformed, your manager, or who ever you are reporting to, is making themselves essential.

when your manager is evaluated by his superiors, he can say "if i left this place would completely fall to shit. i keep this place running so give me a raise.". And his managers will probably nod their heads in agreement and comply.

its a very common pattern in low skill white collar jobs. these guys know they could train up a replacement in a few months, so they do everything they can to segregate knowledge and keep a monopoly on their domain.

I used to work at a place that implemented a policy to not train new employee's while I was there. There was a noticable drop in quality between the staff that received training when they started and the newer ones that didn't. They were still absolutely shit at their jobs multiple months later, while previously after 2-3 days of training they were good to go. After a while people who had been trained started to leave and I found myself one of the few remaining trained staff, and more and more often I had to work alongside the untrained newer staff and we were just late and constantly behind schedule all the fucking time, the workplace became chaotic, and there was no time for me to try to on the job train these newfags either because of the increased workload I had as trained staff. So eventually I just resigned my position as well because I was sick of everyone I was working with having no clue what they were supposed to be doing.

No idea what happened after I left but I imagine it fucking imploded once their last trained staff eventually left.

t. Assistant Manager

The old saying is true that people don't quit jobs, they quit managers. I will say that there's no winning as a manager. My boss is really nice 90% of the time, but has no idea about how to win the respect his position needs. That being said I don't either that's why the way to win is to specialize to the point your "soft skills" don't pay your bills.

I will say the only thing that looks worse than being a peon at my company is being a manager in my company, you have to give up your union membership if you move beyond glorified peon and you get like 15 or 20 dollars extra a week so for 15 dollars extra a week you give up all your employment protection and rights kek fuck being manager

Yes, if the management think your a failure he will actually try to promote you to an other job within the company so that he loses his responsibility of you.

This is 100% win for him
- You fail : it doesn't look bad on him
- You succeed : he had the right gut feeling
- You find an other job : He tried to keep you by giving you a new challenge.
