OP, this is a mistake buy.
Those things are a huge drain on your money.
Not only do you need to buy it, but you need to fuel it, pay the pilot and maintain the aircraft.
This shit will make you poor afuck. You could fly anywhere with a private jet company for that money until the rest of your life.

Even then, regular travel is usually compensated, unlike a private jet. I would get one of those things unless I had a minimum of 3 billion. If my company had its own private jet then I wouldn't mind commandeering it for personal use though.

This is a foolish attitude to have. They sell billion dollar boats and planes. Even the super rich would have to question whether they can afford it or not. If you are a millionaire (say 20 million), then buying a million dollar jet is foolish. You can easily fly first or business class to a hundred destinations and have money for hotels with a million dollars.

Not much, the only difference is that smaller aircraft have less strict redundancy requirements by the FAA. Look up the stats, Gulfstreams have never killed a customer. Private jets make up for it by providing better and safer avionics and they have more modern ground test equipment. Elon Musk impulse bought a second 650ER when he saw how much testing went into those things.
