I need your help anons.
I can't take where I live anymore, in an apartment with my parents.
I just want to drop everything and move to portugal, like this weekend if possible.
I have 80k in savings, work for myself as a day trader.
I have only 1k in my bank account but have all my wealth in BTC.
IS it possible for me to just go to portugal and live there?
How hard is it to get a visa as I have no money in the bank or "official" job?
>I speak portuguese, college grad. American.

Hard. Apply to a university, pay the tuition fee and now you have an at least 6 years long study visa. Sucks that you have to pay like 6k a year in tuition since you're not European. After 5 years you can apply for citizenship

why selling the dip?

why are you dumb?
do you, unironically, think you can live with 80k$ in Western Europe?

In order to get citizenship, you must have at least one Portuguese relative or you must live there legally for 5 years minimum. We don't just hand out citizenship like hot cakes.

In order to live there legally you must have a visa which is obtainable through 2 ways.
The first is the usual one:
https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/portugal-visa/

The second is the quicker but more expensive way. It's called golden visa and you need quite a lot of money
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portugal_Golden_Visa

In other words, you are fucked and might need to follow the Reddit answer unless you have $500k

He can live in Portugal for about 10 years depending on his living expenses.

Im not selling the dip, that is just my savings.
I live frugally.
I also actively daytrade, and can make .2 btc on command usually once per day.
Cryptocribs.com has a bunch of apts where i can pay with btc, and i can fly with btc as well.
I can probably live off 3k a month comfortably.
>>10900184
fuck anon, this is why everyone hates euro cucks. i think the schengen visa is my only way.
however i dont have employement history, money in my bank account, or any of that shit.
im just a NEET seeking a better life away from home.

Are any of your parents or grandparents born in a country in the European union? If so you might be able to get a passport from one of these European countries due to birthright, then you might be able to enter Portugal with your random euro country passport and stay longer than 3 months after registering with the authorities there.

Just don't go to shitplaces like Rio de Janniger (It's like going to the US and go to Detroit)
Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina are pretty much 1st world places

And Rio de Janeiro is the worst shithole, you will be safer on ISIS territory drinking vodka and pissing in Quran than going to Rio

lmao, there is no good money to be made in Portugal

If you want to make good money you leave Portugal for places like UK, Germany, Belgium etc

If you stay in Portugal you pretty much accept you will be making shit money but you'll get to live in possibly one of the prettiest, nicest EU countries

lots of Brazillian people come here with hopes of making money and sending it back to their families in Brazil but they are faced with the reality that all the entry level jobs pay a shit wage and you will be working extra unpaid hours. Met many people who ended up going back because they weren't making enough to support themselves and save for the future. The only brs I know who made it opened their own business and invest serious time in it (think 11hrs+ a day)

I imagine the wages are a lot higher there, but its all proportional to the cost of living. Is unpaid extra time a thing there? I know in the UK they take hours really seriously and any extra time is paid. But over here its just expected that you will work for free after a certain hour
