Never go all ... if it fails , you loose everything. if your good at investing , when you fail at 1 out of many , in a diverse portfolio , you loose nothing , because in most times , you would win. But if you fail at 1 time , when you keep doing all ins , you might loose everything.

Well I still think you should diversify , even if just a little. As for mining tips , you probably won't make much with your PC , no matter what you mine. Since big miners have massive super computers with tens or hundreds of graphics cards. So they far exceed you when it comes to efficiency(Especially if they have those super computers in cheap electricity areas like Russia or Venezuela). But you might make some profits if you join a mining pool but it probably won't earn you much.

Although I guess that even if you mine a small amount if the prices go up in the future and you HODL , than it might prove itself as profitable.
