If anything it was Roger and Jihan that killed it, Roger was constantly on TV saying how bitcoin is doomed and applied pressure to coinbase and bitpay not to enable segwit support so Jihans spam would be more effective. Atleast Jihan will probably be ruined, Roger would have been 4x or 5x richer had he just sat at home doing nothing the bast 2 years.

It's pretty straightforward for everyone by now.
Bitmain can't compete with the big boys without asicboost so they created bcash in a desperate last attempt at clinging on.
Their partners are either brainlets, scammers or B-grade devs who couldn't make the A-teams on BTC or ETH.
Predictably, when you group a load of scammers together they start scamming each other, hence CSW throwing his toys out of the pram.
