Whatever happened to "only invest what you don't mind losing"

>> No.10867473

that's still a sensible way to approach crypto. all of the extremists here can't even fathom that thought process.

"Only you invest what you don't mind losing" is a retarded meme because what money, unless it's like a couple of bucks, would you honestly "not mind losing?"

I mind losing all my money because I'm not retarded.

This is why you fuckers will never make it. You put all your eggs in one basket regardless if it's dying and shitting the bed. You're unironically just lazy people who dont want to research other things and change strategies. Its honestly sad to watch people put 20 to 30% of their paychecks into some shitcoin that we know isnt gonna moon. Yeah crypto was the smartest investment in 2016 but it's in hibernation mode and while you were buying some garbage chink scam that will be dead anyway by the next bullrun, you're missing many opportunities to make it else where.

>inb4 never give up

what is sunk cost fallacy? You never give up trying to make it but that doesnt mean you just dump all your money into some trash hoping it sticks.

The greatest trick was convincing the people that they were making an "investment", not gambling. So many people on /biz/ have a serious gambling problem that they don't even realize, compounded by peer pressure and ego. Every coin is a bubble by design, whereby there are far more speculators than actual users, and so every coin will ultimately be of detriment to the investor base at large. Someone has to pay the house's cut.

It's the great ponzi scheme of our time.
