USDT is printed when there's need. People never _BUY_ USDT straight for USD, they _SELL_ BTC for USDT, to temporarily 'cash out'.
So demand for USDT implies selling pressure.

USDT is also very rarely exchanged for USD though, it's generally pumped back into BTC. So new tether printed = bearish short-term, bullish medium-term.
