go to trading view
open a chart
go to indicators
search and add them by name listed. done.
You can only have up to 3 on a free account and any more than that turns it into a cluttered mess so fuck it. Anyways, I've found it makes the patterns really apparent for brainlets like me who've been wrecked and now mostly trade on daily-1 hour charts

Probably worth a google, but I also recommend you tweak the macd/ema lagging indicators by going to your object tree and hitting the gear icon.
Play around with the numbers until you see the charts adjust their sensitivity to more closely match what occurred in the past. You don't want these indicators to lag too much behind what effectively happened on your candles. If there was a dump, your green macd should show a cross over the trend line.
I'm not a TA fag, but following these little tricks has allowed me to make somewhat smart trades, better than looking at default indicators the exchanges provide, which inevitably are tuned in such a way that you'll almost always lose sats.

I did, I opened two shorts but this was done with my own TA, I'm still trying to figure out how to use your indicators.

For instance why is EMA set to 20 and 10 instead of 200 and 50?

Or how is that MACD better than regular MACD?

Do I simply open a position when the small line crosses the bigger one?

>Do I simply open a position when the small line crosses the bigger one?
pretty much, or before it crosses if you like risk, unless its at a weak ass looking angle. You can really only trust the past trends with this. Looking at volume helps to determine the future a bit. Buy low / sell high or sell low-ish and buy lower if the angles are too steep

>> No.10836299

I got sick of trading mostly on volume and order books because the markets are entirely ruled by bots that enter/exit buy and sell orders within seconds of price actually touching. In crypto, it's probably mostly the dev team's (((code)))

>> No.10836374

I just market buy when hot shit's been slow for a while and set a stop loss until it pumps. I don't know if this quasi-TA or professional trading-like, but seems to have been working so far.

>> No.10836582

for instance, we're heading into a consolidation-like phase (unless bitcorn flash crashes)
if this holds up, depending on the coin's former history, now would a good time to start looking at ONT for an entry point.
if you're impatient and wanna just get it over with, do a market buy then set stop loss and get on with your life (shitposting) until you get an alert that it's pumped, then dump with the rest of the bots once the price has gone up too much for (((them))|dev team|former-ath-fomoers)
-can't do much about (them)
-check the projects twitter feed for a dev team dump.
>they should call all this erc20 shit twitter coin
-look at the charts to see when the last crash occurred, that price level is a minefield

I just figured it out: madrid lines are best used to set stops and limits.
Depending on the amount of risk you're willing to accept, they're helpful in finding where bots will test out a price and where you should ultimately set buy orders.
Multiple time frames need to be analyzed for confirmation of a given price though
