Conversion should happen octoberish and will be facilitated by binance. Holochain is a project that has been in development since 2011 and they have been around longer than most of crypto, check out their github and compare their massive library to literally any other crypto out there. If im not mistaken and all memes aside the team looks pretty good especially when you have mozilla hosting all of their events :). If youre interested put some 'fuck you' money into it and see what happens.

If holo tech is good when rolled out, it is excellent for certain types of businesses like Twitter, Soundcloud, Facebook, Netflix etc. Business that don't need global consensus on all transactions. Also it has a very low price which people love and is very very normie friendly which means marketing should really hit well.
