>MARKET Protocol’s vision is to bring the $100+ trillion derivatives market to the blockchain by powering the safe, solvent & trustless derivative trading of any asset.

People seem to be understimating this partnership. A company creating a stable coin needs a constant flow of data to agreggate prices. The fact that they have chosen Chainlink as their preferred decentralized oracle is really important because it has two main consequences:

1.-Companies will have the perception that Chainlink is the way to go, the standard for oracles, which is one of the best things that could happen to speculative holders, stakers and Linkpool contributors.

2.-This will ensure a lot of traffic to the chainlink network, creating value and speculative interest due to an increase in demand.

DERIVATIVES ARE SUCH A HUGE USECASE FOR LINK

This.
I have seen a few link threads about it today but I'm honestly surprised that they ALL aren't about this. This is the biggest usecase for chainlink and basically confirms the SWIFT partnership at the same time because there is no possible way that this could be happening without SWIFT being involved also.

The use cases lined up by confirmed CL partners are pretty amazing:
- general crypto smart contracts (ZeppelinOS)
- legal smart contracts (Accord)
- crypto-fiat conversion (Openlaw)
- stablecoin (Market Protocol)
- derivatives (Market Protocol)

Just look at this shit.

Include projectchicago.io for derivatives too, even if they are just a developing project yet

They already have this perception, dipshit, we're years ahead of you.

/biz/ is not the cryptoworld dipshit. Leave your ecochambers circlejerking social interaction websites and visit any forum or place for serious tech discussion. Chainlink IS STARTING to be known outside /biz/ now. But this is a long process. The fact that Accord, OpenLaw and MarketProtocol have publically recognized them as their oracle choice is a big step to gain the industry's trust.

Don't forget about the parent company smartcontract.com, which has been a known entity among the very top financial players for a few years now (WEF, Capgemini, Swift, ...).

Or the teeny tiny crypto startups are trying to announce stupid "partnerships" before the adults like SWIFT come in and steal their thunder.

I wouldn't disregard this neither.
