Testifying is one thing, probably not too much to be concerned about. It would be unprecedented but his policies have given the US economy a lot of confidence, trade war and uncertainty aside.

However, if impeachment proceedings do occur and if Democrats do succeed by some miracle (again, depending on the midterm elections) to remove him from office forcefully or by resignation, then expect a shitstorm.

this is some dem midterms shenanigans. they had to bail on the whole russia thing because it jumped the shark completely and totally.

but the idea that any of this political theatre will move the markets in a significant way is, i think, retarded. if theres risk in the markets its from possible tradewar escalation.

no really, sell AMD this time
it will bounce back above 20 soon enough
AMD GPU division is doing their own thing, doesn't really affect AMD because of that Sony/Microsoft rumor deal. What's more important is gaining marketshare in the server business which they're doing with their extremely marked-up $40 CPUs.

It used to be more dangerous to live in Poland than Western Europe, and that's changed too. Poland is a safe country, unlike Sweden, the UK, France, and Germany.

Poland was never third world. Thanks to the UK betrayal, it was second world. Now it is Western Europe's time to be second world for their crimes.

Everything known is already priced in, only future surprises are not priced in. Today's surprise was a number of good articles pointing out that the Ray tracing on Nvidias new card is hot garbage and will not be useful for gaming due to game engine problems. It's essentially a really expensive tech demo that only works under perfect conditions.

The new cards fill out the top line and the old cards which already destroyed AMD can be priced down to take away any spot in the market. AMD has literally no space here. however, i think, especially in terms of countries and their stats that its much less important to look at the here and now of the stats, and much more important to look at the general trend and acceleration of these stats projected into the future.

im gonna need to look and see if i can find some stats like this on violence in eastern vs western europe, but id put money on it that poland is trending down for violent crimes as their standard of living rises, and most of western europe is trending UP as theyre invaded by third world hordes. and in terms of investing in a country, its certainly not the here and now thats important, but where it all ends up thats worth paying attention to

m8 youre off your gourd
sweden was practically violent crime free
then the US subverted lebanon decades ago, and in came some lebanese clan style organized crime, but still nothing too serious (organized crime tends to stay contained, and deaths associated w them are usually just shoved under the rug as a self addressing problem)

but the sudden spike in recent years of riots, beatings, stabbings, rapes in sweden? whether you care to admit it, that shit is happening because there are tons of 3rd worlders getting turned into welfare slaves, and having shit all to do with themselves. same exact thing that happened to blacks in the US after they were raised generationally under govt assitance.

lets get those stats ASAP. multiple sources too, to address EU govts tendency to under-report. i think rkg has a program we can use to calculate the correlation

So I'm really trying to get better at trading by now actually trading (I've read enough books on the subject at this point that I could teach a class on it), but it feels like I'm missing some key insight(s). Or maybe I just need more practice? I see people trading successfully and they don't really seem to be doing anything all that different from what I'm doing.

For example, I don't have any trouble exiting/cutting my losers, I don't have any trouble actually TRYING to put on what I think are good trades (whether or not I get filled is another story as is whether or not they are in fact good trades), I don't have any trouble letting my winners run when they happen (usually let them go 2-3 times the distance to where my stop was and/or the next nearest key level), I'm trading small size right now so I would need an enormous quantity of losses to "blow up" and don't intend to go larger until I am consistently profitable at this size, I look for intraday trends and try to enter on pull-ins/retraces or tightly around the breakouts rather than chasing, and so on and so on.

I want to get better, but really don't know how at this point. Does it really just come down to just throwing yourself at the market each day, following the successful people and trying to emulate them, and then maybe your experience will accumulate to better outcomes? Do you just eventually get so desensitized to the amount of information coming in that you "see" things more clearly/less emotionally? Would love to know what I'm shooting for. When I first started losses hurt, but as I lose more and more, I sort of am starting to give less of a shit. It's getting to the point where it's like "well, big fucking surprise, oh well on to the next trade." Is that generally the direction I should be moving towards?

Charts and TA have their place but if you don't know the company TA only tells you the past and past performance is not a sure predictor of future performance. Take AMD, by all rights from TA and the Charts this price is illogical. It is only by the powers of TA and research into all aspects of a stock that one can get a good game plan. That said if you want to learn watch RKGs daily plan charts when she posts them. You can learn a lot about the SPY price movement from them and from that you can start to see how things kinda move.

>they need good news and new products
they have new products.. that news of distributor has been getting priced in all year LCI has already been working toward replacing that revenue stream. They've already launched 8 new products this year and they've acquired over 25 new drugs.. the news about that distributer does not change the fact that they launched new drugs and acquired more and signed contracts with other companies for added revenue.. Those new products don't just disapear now lol they are still there and LCI is still taking steps to replace that revenue..

It's time for the Lunchtime Checkup!

What're you eating how're you doing?

I'm having a smoked turkey and cheddar on WEAT, store got Tillamook in stock now so I'm trying that out. Coffee from this morning was MINT for being type III. I'm just barely down today, CAT and ROAD are propping me up.

Then why aren't they hyping it up? They're very late in posting marketing FUD to keep themselves from slipping. It's what INTC does when they find themselves in the shit. So does NVDA. Marketing and hype is an amazing thing for damage control.

Yea, the one thing I had drilled to me about TA was that it's not predictive. It's more about structuring trades. In a trending stock, it can help you set a stop and a target, but it can't reliably tell you that the trend is going to continue. It can set an entry point at the top of a level where a consolidation has occurred and if price touches that you can call it a breakout, it can set a stop somewhere sensibly under the "breakout" which will inform you how much you'll need price to run on a winner to have a good risk/reward, but it can't predict that the breakout will actually follow through. I'll keep an eye out for those daily plans from RKG.
