yip. once it hits $1 again it puts it in the top 25, which is right around when normie money will notice it. from there $3-5 EOY will be the absolute minimum we see, but with any announcements we'll probably see closer to somewhere between $10 and $50 followed by a lull and then the price picking up momentum next summer.

>> No.10783213

the $5-10 range is what I expect we'll land at. $50 is stretching things and would need a shitload of partnerships coming forward and directly naming Chainlink rather than just alluding to Chainlink-esque features.

That said everyone seems to forget Facebook is ramping up their blockchain R&D and one of Chainlink's advisors got tapped to join that new team. I think Facebook's EOY message will be one that isn't priced in and could send the price soaring depending on what they say about their blockchain work in that announcement and whether they namedrop Chainlink, even if only in passing like "Evan, who advises projects like Chainlink and Ziliqua".

>> No.10783349

>>10783213
I agree it's possible. Smart money is getting in to chainlink (I know that's a meme statement but it's true for chainlink the past month+). A big factor is btc and eth price movement. I buy many of the "partnership" theories here, with the caveat that they are more like internally-anticipated usecases rather than partnerships. For example, a company that starts using Microsoft business software such as Excel isn't in partnership with microsoft. Same deal with chainlink, which is why only smart money and actual use will drive chainlink's price up, rather than partnership hype.

You guys don't understand what price singularity is. It's when the network starts to be used. Normie FOMO doesn't matter as natural supply v demand will push the price up ridiculously quickly. Why?
Because while LINK is cheap, more LINK will be staked on contracts. Any level of network growth will push the price up as the order book will simply be too fucking empty.

We might see random dumps of people cashing out their 10x gains, but it's network activity that will push LINK into the realm of obscure scarcity.

$30,000 EOY

Some people here lose $1500 if Chainlink moves $0.01.

>> No.10783610

>>10783472

Oh I understand normie money won't be the sole/primary source of the singularity. The token economics favor staking and come mainnet an overwhelming majority of all LINK will be staked or otherwise squatted. LINK needs to be worth enough to provide proper insurance for liabilities related to shitty data, and for the industries it'll be involved in that's going to require a high price for LINK immediately, or a shitload of LINK being staked which will force a high price as a result. Either way the singularity is guaranteed.

But keep in mind the largest of these partnerships, and the ones who will spike the price the most are still a ways away from actual implementation. We'll see an initial speculative spike before we see the real singularity. IMO that won't come until next summer/fall, but this last quarter will still see some large movement. Then we'll see the nextgen dApp ICOs through spring/summer, and initial finance pilots come summer/fall 2019.

>> No.10783645

Super low income burger with 2k linkies here.. I've been buying in small amounts since last year and was only able to get my stack of 600 up to 2k because of that dip to 12 cents.
Not selling until I have enough to make a down payment on a house and put a fraction in an index fund that will guarantee me a yearly salary while keeping the majority of my links in holding for preferably years and years.
We will all make it.

Pretty much this, if it weren’t for all the shilling here (let’s be honest, biz is the only reason LINK has been propped up above ICO price for so long) we would have had a GREAT opportunity to accumulate 5 cent LINK. Unfortunately all you impatient newfags couldn’t shut up for a second about LINK fud/shill every chance you get. You gave it too much attention, we could have made 10,000x gains but unfortunately we have to settle for 1000x. Sad.
