I started setting one alarm for 6 and another for 7. I work 80 hours so if I wake up and my legs are sore I might sleep til the 7am alarm but even that's a massive improvement from my old habit of trying to sleep til the last minute cause I felt that was how I'd get enough sleep. I used to sleep as late as I could, rush to get ready, and half the time I'd get out to my car and realize I forgot something, or I'd just be stressed out because I was living in squalor and felt I had no time to do anything about it. Now I get up with energy and I'm in no rush. Even have time to go to the gym if I want, more than enough time. The best is when I wake up even before the alarm goes off. And what's amazing is how many damn cars are already on the road. Those people are out there getting shit done and now I'm a contender

I used to stay late at work and I've finally realized that I'm better off getting the fuck out of there on time and then coming back in fresh.

I've been wanting to re-program myself for a white, to get up early and do a run in the AM, instead of taking 2 hours from my day in the evening.

The biggest challenge has been getting into bed early enough to get the 7-8 hours of sleep. The internet is such a time thief, offering so many distractions, I just sit around until 1 AM, and then I can't even get my ass out of bed at 7:30, and when I do, my whole day is shot because I can barely function.

Most efficient form of transportation - you're in someone's leased car that's working as an independent contractor for maybe $15/hr while you plug in some earbuds and sneak a little work in or answer bullshit emails so you can just get straight to work when you arrive.
