I’m on mobile but can someone track this down? I believe Rory mentioned in slack sometime that marketing would coincide with the plan to launch mainnet. Both would do a sort of “run-up” so they would be synced for launch. If true, that could mean this first tweet by Adelyn is the start of the marketing run-up to mainnet launch and depending on their plans, could be 1-3 months away (anything longer and people would start to get antsy).

But there's no aggregation and reputation code.

Reputation is going to be done by third parties to start.

Thomas has previously said that the intial, simplified mainnet will have an averaging aggregation contract and that's it

in the pivotal you can see that certain service agreement tasks have aggregation functions tied into them. for example, one of the service agreement tasks is to "collect and aggregate oracle answers to a service agreement request". aggregation is no longer its own label, rather, it's lumped into the service agreement label. i'd suspect they'll do the same thing with reputation.

Yea, it seems “service agreement” is code for “aggregation contract”

reread my screenshot. aggregation and reputation are both part of SLAs.

Yea. I’ve seen a lot of activity on github regarding “service agreements” and it felt weird like it occupied a more important place than usual and I took note because it sounded out of place. It’s very possible now that “service agreements” contain both aggregation and reputation (or what’s needed to launch) and mainnet will be here much sooner than we thought. And remember the chainlink team is known for their surprise accouchements like alpha going live or the new website redesign. So they could be misleading to make us think it would be further down the road and there would be no hype, but they could have tipped their hand and it’s only a few weeks away. Idk. Maybe Jesus will come back too riding a giant link cube
