Sure. Despite supporting the BCH project, i agree.

>Surely if he was Satoshi he'd just prove it, and then Bitcoin Cash really would become the real Bitcoin end of fucking story.
No...i can't imagine any good comes from ANYONE publicly proving they created Bitcoin and subsequently owns a massive stake of them.
It's volatile for lots of reasons, with very little upside.
There is also the ethical consideration, should a figurehead be required to legitimise a decentralised asset? Or should it be meritocratic?

>Instead he just acts like a total fucking wanker instead... which leads anyone to believe he is just an attention seeking fraud
Fair enough mate. Can't really argue against this, some will always find that showman / edgy personality as distasteful. Others rightfully comparing him to a use car salesman or con man. I think the personalities at the fore of BCH are the sole reason the word "con" and "fraud" get slung around so frequently. It's also why people rarely investigate or debate on the underlying protocols. Dumb people get to feel awfully smart by discussing difficult topics, simply by debating only the personalities within it.

Small blocksize means nodes everywhere.
Nodes everywhere means no centralisation.
Right now, BTC is the ONE AND ONLY decentralised crypto, and THAT is why it's number 1.
Of course, anyone wanting to gain control cannot design decentralisation, and so we have an ecosystem composed of bitcoins and scamcoins.

The most prominent coins tend to be under a lot of scrutiny though, and so even if they are completely centralised ( ETH, BCH, LTC... ), they are still a good way to accumulate more bitcoins relatively safely.

Bitcoin mining has long been centralized (the only outcome for PoW since economy of scale dictates that the richest will dominate mining). The other nodes don't fucking matter and also could be centralized (without you even noticing) by someone with access to shitloads of cloud boxes (economy of scale again).

The goal isn't decentralization, the goal is censorship resistance.

No one wants to centralize Bitcoin, they just don't want to sacrifice utility under the excuse of "maximum decentralization" that in reality provides no benefit to the network.

Would you rather have a network that anyone can use that is decentralized across the globe with thousands of relevant economic and mining nodes, or a network that only the rich can use with hundreds of thousands of nodes doing nothing but relaying transactions from the significant nodes?

ethereum has the most decentralized network
https://cryptoslate.com/ethereum-more-decentralized-than-bitcoin-according-to-university-study/
>Small blocksize means nodes everywhere.
the reason is because that's a monumental bullshit. People start nodes when they get some utility from that. A unused coin has minuscule requirements but close to zero nodes as nobody needs them. As long as costs increase slower than benefits, increasing scalability increases number of nodes.

Once eth goes PoS the number of nodes is going to skyrocket.

>and THAT is why it's number 1.
It's number 1 because it was the first and has the strongest brand (not even adoption anymore - that's eth). That's it.
