I did this 4 months ago. Best 4 months of my life. I am just enjoying life. I have don't eat out much, i like to cook. Rent is low, since i have no work anymore i dont have to spend much money on gas. Girlfriend pays half of living costs (rent, food, utilities), so it's cool. For fun we just go drive around to sea, or go hiking or thrifht shopping. Life is fucking fun! Money wise i don't know currently, i am trying to find something aswell. It used to be crypto trading but took a huge hit when everything fell alot. I am doing some programming occasionally but not much work.

Java programmer straight outta college to corporate world. First year was so fun a lot to learn so it was interesting. Once i learned all the basics and got good plus the crypto was booming at the time(december) i was thinking why i was doing all this, where i am going with it. So i quit in spring because i wanted to wrap up all my unfinished projects and gave the company 2-3 months notice.

Because otherwise i would run outta money in a year or a two. And if i can't find enough freelance work or some easy money gotta go do some months of work. I can get like 2000-3000 euros per month for developer work and the medium salary in this country is like 700-800 eur for normal workers so its pretty comfy and i can save up, but only if i can't get anything else working for me.

Also i would like to say that 4th month has been actually quite bad because i have fallen into a comfortzone, become very lazy. First 3 months i always tried new things etc. When there is no mr shekelstein commanding your every step you sometimes fall off. Just gotta get back in. So took up meditation, lifting, reading books, waking up more early again. I think this will happen every few months, just gotta get back.
