Does anyone else sometimes have the feeling there is nothing really fulfilling to do with money? I work in investment banking and I live in the middle of the city, I earn a decent salary, yet I seem to have absolutely no interest in spending money, not on clothes, watches, cars, or traveling. Yet I constantly think about making more and I would like to run my own investment fund in the near future. It seems like I am suffering from a hoarding problem, I just keep stacking money on my bank account without buying anything. I just want nothing - perhaps I'm dead inside already?

If you’re out of debt and young, keep stacking. Then if you ever get a hair up your ass to do something else, you’ll have the financial freedom to do so. To start I’d recommend meditation and exercise. If you can get a handle on those two things, life starts to make sense and fall into to place. Healthy mind, body, and spirit.

I'm like this. People tell me travel, see the world, meet interesting people... travelling bores me out of my mind, it's not a problem of not being able to afford things, but not wanting them. But I do like markets a lot, it's like the gambling has become the meaning, in the hopes that I'll be able to use what I have saved for something actually important at some point but at the same time I feel hopeless.
