There is no VM and if you want a network with a couple of nodes then there are DB structures that are 1000x more efficient and even have signing features.

Also, ACES has been out for almost a year and there is not a single public funded node. Absolute fucking failure on their selling point. Not even the delegates are willing to fund an ACES node because they wouldn't dare trade some of their ETH for ARK.

A delagate can always manipulate the code but the other delegates has to also manipulate the code in the same way in order to get away with it. Also there are people who want to become delegates that will see if they do something funky.
