Well OP you faggot, why didn't you or anyone else try to help me in the thread I made last night? I had a business meeting with someone who has a lot of connections and experience in the field I want to make money in, but since were from different cultures and barely know each other's languages, we had a translator. Anyway, I didn't pay for either of their dinners and I felt like shit about it. To end on a good note, he seemed enthusiastic yet understandably skeptical about my half assed pitch. I didn't have any stats or figures ready... needless to say I didn't really understand this meeting would turn out to be so important. The translator set it up between us and he just made it seem like it was just a chill get to know you type thing but the important guy brought out his laptop and gave me a an hour slideshow presentation before I showed him anything of mine.

He said he would tell one of his project funders about my project and see if its feasible, so I gave him a model prototype that was a part of my shitty little presentation and he seemed quite thrilled.

I sent him a thank you e-mail and all that, but I'm getting nervous now. Will he steal my idea? He had some bad ass ideas on the application of my product and filled me with an invigorating drive, but I'm worried I insulted him by not buying his dinner since he's from a very honor based society.

How do I proceed? I was thinking of just continuing on with my new found information and working on that until he contacts me again. I know I need to learn how to do business relations better and I need to get my statistics... anything else I should do? I'm not even sure what type of business relationship this could lead to... im assuming he'd be the lead and I'd be a pawn considering I'm a complete newbie and he's an established professional with tons of prior success.
