I did. I went into this yolo-style, go big or go home. I was also convinced that the bubble would pop much faster, so in my mind I had a very limited time to make money.

In the first weeks of trading I would regularly lose 10-20% of my capital in a day, and then double or triple it the next day. I took large positions but quickly cut the losses if they went against me. But then when it goes with me, I let it run.

short 1 btc worth of contracts, so 6100 contracts.

the btc in your balance will lose value though, so to make 1$ net profit per 1$ bitcoin drops you should additionally short the value of your balance.
so 500 + 6100
the 500 will lock in the current price of your coins, and the 6100 is your net short

you should look at leverage differently. leverage just controls how much margin (btc) is assigned to a position, aka how much btc you can lose if you get liquidated. it doesn't change how much you will profit - you must increase the contract amount to profit more.

Then I saw this (img) and figured things could get really ugly. Shorted the top at 7400 there with 1.5m Then we broke down I added 1m extra to it. There's always a trend happening on some time frame. What I call trends, OP (and many other traders) calls "fractals" or flags. He trades them very well.
