More Tether being created should be bullish long term. You only buy into Tether if you're planning to enter back into the market at a later point.
If you want to exit the crypto market for good you would avoid Tether, as it does have risks over real USD.
So more Tether means there is more money on the sidelines waiting to buy back in again. Short term it could be bearish though.
