Have lived abroad to teach English before but now have a small child here so it's not a serious option.

I'm torn between my own business and killing myself at the moment, but I don't really want to leave people behind so looks like I have put the effort in and get my idea off the ground.

I've worked as a teacher of EFL / ESOL for about 9 years - in 5 different countries.

My idea is to bring wealthy students / professionals over to the UK for a kind of one-to-one intensive English language training and cultural experience weekend / week.

I'll market first of all in Italy as I worked there the longest and know the culture, speak the language etc.

So i'll aim at wealthy Uni age kids or business people who want to spend 2 to 6 days with their own personal English teacher - having classes, conversation, visiting places of interest, museums etc.

I'd do pretty much everything myself. I can definitely handle it. Just lots to sort out and get done.

One crazy option you can try is to market yourself to lower-upper class Russians. They are heavily Anglophilic but do not have enough money to send their kids to the Ivy League or Oxbridge. They should have enough to send them to England for a small week though. The only problem is finding customers. Alternatively you could try to wheedle money out of some wealthy Chinese.
