I never said BAT won’t take off, but to be on coinbase is not how it’s going to thrive. BAT has an uphill battle as far as cryptos, it’s a great concept and software team, but I don’t think coinbase is the place for it. The brave browser needs to up and running properly before it can really grow some legs

BAT is one of the very few utility tokens. You can already pay content creators in BAT, and tokens are available through UGP grants. They are currently doing closed ad trials, but users will be able to earn tokens soon. Theres nearly 5 million users and for a lot of people this will be their first crypto token. Think about it from a strategic standpoint if you were coinbase and tell me why zrx which most people dont understand or have a need for or zcash makes more sense than BAT. BAT needs a better KYC partner and coinbase has the infrastructure. Coinbase also has something like 1.2mm users. BAT has roughly 5mm. They stand to gain new customers if BAT users want to get deeper into crypto currencies.
