Be honest anon, why did you buy into this utter garbage? It's inflated through the roof via airdrops and ico's, susceptible to being hacked, and the wallet is horse shit. Transaction speeds do not matter if the coin is shit. So please tell me why I should hold this?

>> No.10556047

>>10555907
I was a believer in NANO, all the way from 10 dollars down and kept buying more, but finally sold and bought LINK two weeks ago, sold at 4.2k Sat's and never felt better

FUCK NANO

>> No.10556081

>>10555907

Dump it, it is by far the most risky investment in the top 50 (will be out of it soon lmao), basically a high school project blown out of proportions. Whales are still cashing out and when they finish it will be deader than a 2014 bitcoin clone.

It's funny I did the exact same thing.

I'll buy back into NANO at some point. Unironically think it will drop a lot further. The team needs to get their shit together and be hungry for businesses to adopt them.

>> No.10556768

>>10555907
It might be a good coin if they manage to iron out the problems and stabilize the coin and nodes. Until then, sell and wait. Too risky, can blow up any time. Team has a long history of insane decisions and are true amateurs/incompetent. Bitgrail did not help.

>> No.10556951

I like nano, but the team sucks and will keep killing it until they actually treat it like something other than a school project

If any of you faggots could read code you would see the node optimizations that are being committed to mainline right now.
It looks like they are maybe a couple days away from posting a stress test on the dev net in the area of 500-1000 TPS.

Instant transactions

Feeless

Decentralised, both in design, and in operation

Permissionless

Environmentally Friendly

Scaleable - to possibly 7000tps. (300tps has been seen on mainnet)

Simple - a User eXperience that even your granny could understand

Working today (not future vapourware)

Android, IOS, desktop and browser wallets

Securable on Ledger Nano S & Jolt hardware wallets

Easy for merchants to integrate into Point of Sale via BrainBlocks and Kite

Works even if you're offline, even with paper wallets

Can securely reuse Addresses

Not classifiable as a Security

On Binance and eight other exchanges

p2p exchanges coming - LocalNanos.com due on Aug 21st and PayFair

Would cost at least one third of its market cap to breach its security with a 51% attack

Awesomely-supportive community has contributed many of the above

Can be used as an arbitrage coin once on all exchanges

Lack of fees makes it usable globally e.g. in Venezuela where some coins' fees exceed the local daily wage

No inflation - All coins in circulation

Easy to run a node with cheap hardware - A single-board computer is enough like the Brainblocks Pod

No mining required that mess with graphic cards market

Several block explorers to choose from like Nanode or MeltingIce

Promising Roadmap with many points already solved

Driven by intelligent people with a clear vision and awesome Dev team

Transparent development where anybody can jump in and contribute

Protocol and many wallets are open sourced like Nano wallet company, Canoe, Nano Blocks and Nanovault

Being considered for Coinbase Custody

Near instant and zero fees makes Nano to maybe THE best currency to be used for micro transactions like gambling, betting and other online services

Crypto has no use in value transfer besides monero on the dark web

Bitcoin is a hold of value just like gold. It’s legit

No fucking middle-small size company is ever gonna adopt nano. Think for a second guys. So they save 3% on cc fees right? Keep following along. Nano has a bad day and drops 7%. Why the fuck would they adopt this shit when it will literally whipe out their profit margin.

Keep following along..... even if nano gets picked up by coinbase. Say I send a cousin nano because I owe them money. They still have to fucking cash put on coinbase and get it transferred to the bank..... and than get the moneys

There are already numerous systems that can do this with real fiat.

Yeah they are both DPOS, EOS would score better right now as the infra is being deployed by large investors.
Though EOS is a smart contract platform first and a currency second or maybe third depending on how you look at it behind distributed apps.
Also you have to take into consideration the constitution and voting mechanisms of EOS, My personal view of it is negative, but the market will decide if people accept it.

Who cares, they could do 1 million TPS it has still a broken economic model leading to centralisation, no compatibility with smart contracts and a dogshit UX.
I would rather bet on a a coin created from start for mass adoption like pic related instead of an engineering experiment that is shitting the bed every month.
Also high TPS are a meme for a currency, Paypal is doing fine with 200 TPS, BCH has less than 2 TPS on average, at the peak of the bubble LTC had 2 TPS too.
Only smart-contracts platforms really need high tps, for pure payment protocol you have at least a decade before something needing more than 1000 TPS.
