Used to be very bullish on XMR because like it or not, privacy coins have a huge use case. Governments can ban it, but they aren't the ones backing its value. And because it's private, they can't find or stop the people using it...

With that said, I don't understand why anyone would pick this over Dash. It has optional privacy, so governments would be less likely to ban. It's wayyyy more scalable. Transactions are wayyy faster. It already has a ton of big partnerships and accepting vendors (Just announced Fanduel!). Just go to their site and DYOR. Most slept on coin imo, and i'm too poor to own much...so not much of a shill lol

anon your missing the point..you buy said coin because you speculate on future buy pressure from people who need these kind of coins.

It's one of the few coins that's actually useful, because it can help you have financial privacy when used correctly.
As long as its value is above 0,
Monero will be a useful asset.

Do you feel you deserve financial privacy?
Just because the current status quo tries to attach a negative stigma to the concept doesn't mean it's wrong.

(((they?)))
They've tricked us into thinking privacy is criminal when it's a completely natural thing to desire.
I say there's nothing wrong with wanting privacy.
How I spent my money is none of anyone else's business.

Even with everything monero does they are barely keeping their heads above the water. The Feds can plausibly link a lot of transactions if they have information like when it occurred, etc., even with ring signatures. Optional privacy, especially opt in privacy, hugely reduces the search space, and is basically the same as no privacy.
