I have seen some news headlines that say bitcoin mining is using more energy than most entire countries. How can it really go on like this if that keeps increasing? Won't this soon become a big problem?

Solar power is a complete scam. It's amazing normies actually believe you can power industrial scaled operations with overpriced and inefficient solar panels.

You would need at least a few square yards just to power just 1 antminer. Not to mention that would cost thousands of dollars and the ROI would be in the years, not months, not including the 6-8+ months ROI on the antminer alone, which becomes obsolete in less than a year. Oh and YOU CAN'T RUN THESE THINGS AT NIGHT. "but muh batteries", again, THOUSANDS of dollars, even for just 1 battery to keep that energy hogging antminer going all night.

The scaling just isn't there and I keep hearing this shit over and over again by morons thinking they can do this to make a quick buck while saving "muh environment". You can't. The Chinese are laughing at us while they use their coal and natural gas that's practically free for them. Even they're having ROIs in the 6 month range.
