Math is not a big part, it's mostly about remaining emotionless and not trying to trade against the trend. Buy low, sell high, it really is that easy, except greed will overwhelm you and you'll end up either fomoing and buying high or hסlding too long to watch all your gains disappear.

Exactly, just like the boomer poker players who have been playing for 20-30 years and still blow their money routinely because they can't wrap their head around concepts that make a successful poker player.

I've seen pro Starcraft 2/LoL players get into trading/poker and pick it up in a matter of months to the point where they turned it into a part time/full time job.
