Has anyone ever become maybe overly assertive when a boss blames you for something because of their own bad management?

Or do you usually just take blows and cuck it out?

I feel like I may get fired if I get too bold with the bosses when I'm just following two different directions from two different bosses.

If you can't tell your bosses that, they will continue to blame you
Make it clear that you're only following both of their directions

How did that go?

If a boss exposes himself as irrational, just quietly make plans to jump ship or overtake them.

Other people's weaknesses are simply proof from the universe that you are above that level of competition and that you should rise above them.

As expected. He tried lecturing me like I was a his kid about how its rude etc, and then went back to his office. He knows he cant fire me because it'd take him forever to find a replacement

When I was passed over for a promotion I was convinced I deserved I went on a rant to my boss about her various incompetencies, stormed out of her office then made a complaint to the union and to HR about her and the rules she has broken.

I still have the job although I think my boss has been making hissing noises at me behind my back.

I'm trying to be professional and voice my what is wrong, but I don't want to burn down bridges. I just get very autistic and somewhat lack empathy when I talk in these situations.

The correct move depends on what career you're in and how much of a boss the boss in question actually is.

Like, if you work some wagecuck job the only place calling out your store manager is going to get you is fired.

On the other hand, in a big boi corporate job there are some scenarios where embarassing an immediate supervisor in front of more important supervisors could benefit you. But as a rule, don't do that. The best way to move up the ladder is to make your superiors look good. Meritocracy isn't a real consideration in most gigs, and people tend to let their lackeys ride their coattails.

OP what you want to do is reframe the relationship. People fucking love to feel like they're taking a subordinate under their wing because they love the idea that other people see them as an expert.

Two years ago I stopped taking shit at my internship -> full time position and then quickly realized how miserable the job had made me. I got fired within a month of this change and looking back on it I'm so glad I did. If you can afford to don't be scared to take risks

I've been fired a couple of times in my life. In the long term, or even after 3+ months, it was never a bad thing. I always wound up in a better place. If they're going to fire you, you need to leave anyway. Just spin the firing as if it was your decision for some bullshit personal/family reason and be done with it.

not really, I work a wagecuck job in a grocery store and a few crazies come in, we're based near a huge tard home / out patient mental place and lots of tards come in without a tard wrangler and just loading up carts and not buying shit and walking around and asking for stupid shit like
>"h-hello do you h-have 20 of these blease?"
I usually just say no sorry to keep it simple but this tard wouldn't give up and I was pissed and tired and I told him to fuck off and explained you never buy any of this shit anyway and called him a retard and then the manager called me into his office and I was pissed and said these fucking retards always come in and mess shit up, ruin fuck loads of dairy/frozen products because they defrost or go warm after being in a cart for 2-3 hours while the tard walks around.
he tried telling me to be more compassionate but then bitched at me literally 2 minutes after due to our waste being higher in our section and just got fucking angry and told him it's the fucking retards fucking us over and called him a idiot and walked out and went home
>tfw he calls you back and apologizes because you're a good goy who always shows up
>tfw you realize you were jew'd into returning.

If I have a problem I usually state it, I'm pretty bold and honest. But then again I haven't had to deal with that too much and I also live with someone who pays the rent so I dont have that pressure. I can get a new job easy

If you let them walk all over you, you'll get fired for incompetence.

If you stick up for yourself, you'll get fired for having a bad attitude.

Get a better paying job while you still have yours. Then tell them to pound sand.

>Has anyone ever become maybe overly assertive when a boss blames you for something because of their own bad management?

Yes and it's frustrating as hell and it also kind of goes with the territory. I've also been on the other end where I was the boss and stupid employees fucked it up and tried to turn it around on me and that's pretty fucking frustrating too.

So, general suggestions
1) Focus on the immediate problem and getting that solved. E.g. you told boss last week that you were running low on plastic forks and he said "I think we'll be fine, stop worrying about it" and then this week it's "anon what the fuck, how did you fuck this up so royally that there are no fucking forks left, you idiot?" Try to resist the temptation to take the bait "Well, I'm sorry we ar in this situation and right now I'm working on tracking down some more plastic forks"

2) From now on, going forward, politely but firmly focus on preventing it next time around. So, next month, when you are concerned about running out of forks, then, well, send an email, and also be a little more forceful about saying "Hey Boss, don't mean to bug you about this, but I'm concerned about running out of forks again, so, if you want I can order them, but I need your password, but I just want to make sure we are covered when it comes to forks.

Next, generally take a look at the boss and evaluate. Is boss generally a good guy, but he was a dick about that particular situation with the forks. Well, then, I say, hey, look, nobody's perfect, let's let it go.

OTOH is boss the kind of guy who is constantly pulling this shit -- you want to be ESPECIALLY careful to see how he treats other people as well. Because if this is a habit, then you just need to get the fuck out asap. The chances that you are going to (1) convince him he is in the wrong or (2) get his boss to do something about it is basically 0. Not saying it never happens but it is FAR more likely that it blows back on you. Just GTFO.

I usually go get a new job and a raise. When that kind of shit happens, it means it's time to leave. No point in starting shit with your boss, he's a pile of crap and will continue being a pile of crap.

It's just a red flag. GTFO when your boss pulls this shit.

Just my philosophy.
