Bump. I'm not even sure what I've done wrong. Started end of April 2017.
Looks like I underperformed the market about 3 times.
My guesses:
>basically missed the BTC bull run, I was mostly in ETH and a few alts
>didn't want to listen to /biz/ and missed out on pretty much all the good alts, NEO, OMG, mooning shitcoins
>obviously didn't sell before the bubble popped

The thing is that I've been successfully trading for months now but I feel like a failure. Is anyone else here in a similar situation?

Go in coins early with upcoming mainnet.

I am almost you anon. 12k starting around the same time. Went to 60k, now at 36k. We played it safe and it is ok. You wouldn't have cashed out, and now you would have nothing.

Hey that's pretty identical to my portfolio, only I had a bit more ATH (x8).
Yeah I think my cautious nature fucked me up. I missed out on most of the good alts because I thought they're shitcoins, while anons who just blindly listened to /biz/ and bought ANS in July made fortunes. Well I hope I'll make it this year, I got a good selection of alts, nice chunk of BTC and some trading experience on bitmex. I'll keep digging my way up while the market hopefully follows suit. lost a bit at the start since the market went to shit. bought into the 0x ico, then bought several icos that were a mixed bag. eventually made hectic gains from getting into the wanchain and zilliqa icos

ive made alot of shit decisions since though, especially falling for the hodl meme. most of my coins bled around that time last year too

I'm in pretty much an identical situation (except my starting was ~10k so my portfolio is worth a fair bit more now). I don't think this is a larp.

Actually now that I think about it, im sure many people go in april last year given it was the beginning of the first major alt coin bull run.

Also, 10k starting april, 150k ATH, 50k current :(

It's been one of the least buzzy ICOs i've come across and I consider that a huge deal. they let their bounty program do the marketing and are focused on gettin real shit done. this one's gonna be huge and no one sees it coming. absolutely no one. i scored with the 100% bonus that was available for a few seconds - pretty sure the 50% bonus will be gone any day now. good luck!
