Okay. Mining only rewards whomever wants to spend the most money on electricity to get tokens. Why would they hold onto this token when there are already tokens that investors have sunk far more resources into, thus have higher support (Bitcoin itself, ICO tokens where actual fiat has been invested, dividend paying coins etc.) - there is little incentive for them to hold and thus little reason for this to have an intrinsic value.

The argument that it allows smart contracts on bitcoin is fallacious for several reasons: 1. it's not bitcoin, you can't convert your current bitcoins for this token, 2. all ERC tokens allow smart contracts, 3. Bitcoin can use the Omnilayer, 4. there are already at least two proofs of concept to implement Smart Contracts on Bitcoin natively, 4. this assumes there won't be any future forks or layer implementations on either BTC or BCH that allow smart contracts.

The only plausible argument in this coins favor is that since it has not been offered at ICO that theoretically means it's less prone to cartel like behavior: except Bitcoin itself has proven that wrong.

The greatest problem when trying to counter this scamtoken with facts is that this token has hardly any facts that can be contradicted. 0xBTC is a pure hypecoin that is dependent on hype and spam for its very survival and has no fundamentals at all and thus has nothing that anyone can contradict. It is nothing but a piece of stolen code from Bitcoin copied into an ERC20 token creating a minable token.
