There’s definitely a strong argument to be made that technology combined with a lot of aspects of modernity significantly degrades the human experience and is psychologically damaging to people. That being said, 99% of men today are straight up bitchboys compared to any that would exist in a traditional society. I guarantee you’d actually hate the rigors of agrarian life if you actually had to go back. But then again, that’s just because we’ve been ill-conditioned to exist outside our current system.

Next week predictions:

Tilray will have a significant retrace. Potential short opportunity. I pulled out the majority of my position today. Wish it had been a larger position to begin with but so it goes.

Canopy and Aurora likely to have oversold bounces. They may be small bounces but worthwhile if you swing or day trade. Sector will probably follow along as it usually does.

I am increasingly wary of small cap growers in the sector. If they haven't secured supply deals or have associations with the larger LPs, I think they're all in big trouble. If you wanna dick around with small caps I suggest cannabis biopharma or nutraceutical OTC kinda outfits or, at the very least, choose US based small cap growers. Except for ISOL. ISOL a shit.

well from my experience you cant really buy into a bad market, even i started before the 2008 crash. the key is to buy into bad markets when everyone else is terrified.

Begining of the week sold all of my 401K into essentially a 5% money market and now I sold all of my IRA in vangaurd to buy their prime money market. I am scared of a happening. Asset prices are so high, companies are over levered in tandem with all of their buy backs, and as interest rates rise im not sure how long this bubble lasts. Especially today after trump getting ready to blame the federal reserve for the upcomming crash

Since it is a gabonese monkey stew recipes imageboard, my answer should be taken for what it is: potentially retarded

I feel it is like the JPY : when times are good, margins are taken out of US assets (USD sold) and invested elsewhere in the world
When times are bad, investors got margin called on their US assets, global selloff happens and USD are bid to meet the margin calls.

people sell stock and shit and dollar moons during crash. crushes commodities, all the farmers starve. oil producers get stuck with their cocks up their asses, everyone fucking dies at the end. keynes giggles from his faggot grave, and then the govt cuts our currency in half again and we do it again

the important part is what happens after the rate hikes stop mooning the dollar. inflation can come back (circled areas) then run away from itself. after dollar stops moving in tandem w commodities (this is happening now btw) commodities start to moon, then they have a beartrap, then a crypto style bubble golden bull as everything starts getting more fucking expensive. the moment that oil peaks and drags every other commodity down is the moment to short absolutely everything

just be aware that silver and golds price is very much decided by the people who can manipulate it. if it really actually ends up being a safe place to go, you do it AFTER the crash, HODL for the fucking recession. the people who control precious metal prices will hold it down to steal all the retarded libertarians and communists money as everyone panics and then they will get in at the absolute bottom, and hold outside of all the currencies literally exploding. this will 10x their money again and then things get really interesting

if you’re actually curious there are super interesting history books on this subject with countries experiencing hyperinflation , Weimar Germany and in Brazil (for a more modern one with up to date technology and actual global stock markets like we have today) for example. Farmers did really well, white workers and factory workers not so much. And crazy stories about how people’s whole jobs were shopping during the day, because you could make money by going to the stores at the correct hours and times and profit off of the currency fluctuations that happened in the meantime — super interesting things start happening it’s wild.
