I think it's important to value everyone's opinions on bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and the blockchain in general. To claim that bitcoin will fail has as much weight to it as saying bitcoin will succeed, nobody knows but I'd certainly value the opinion of an elder like Schiff before some 22 year old kid screaming how USD is the real scam and how they're in bitcoin because "it's all about the technology"

Bitcoin will crash, when? Who knows but it will crash hard. That does not mean that crypto or the blockchain will die, what it means is similiar to the dot com boom everything is cyclical, and Goddamn if we aren't approaching apex of this current Crypto boom then we are looking at something that defies all basic economic understanding.

Schiff is a retard. Gold has no inherent value either as a currency. Unless you make circuitboards it's completely useless and will just sit in a vault taking up space. Same with cash, same with electronic banking. It has value because everyone agrees it has value, and THAT'S IT. Bitcoin and other cryptos are no different. Oh except for the tiny fact that they're more secure, more independent, and more useful. Boomer dunce.

Bitcoin can be used to move money basivsööy instantly all over the world. We just need to all agree to use it. Also hold is held mostly by governments backed by military force which means good luck getting any gold unless you pay what the USA says it's worth in their endlessly printed USD. You can also use YUAN now btw.

Bitcoin isn't going to disappear. It hasn't until now. It would have disappeared already. Took less time to find Usama and dump him in the ocean quickly before anyone saw him .

Bitcoin is here to stay. Probably above 6k for now. Maybe over 100k soon enough. Time will tell. Nonetheless bitcoin is the most interesting things to happen to economy since the first bank was invented.
