So now that Ebay is forcing a 30 day return policy on sellers what is going to be the best alternative ?

Ebay is either trying to force out its niche market members whom sell antique condoms and battle toad games for Alibaba distributors and the like of things

>Antique condoms

Brainlet detected

Implying the money back guarantee hasnt been around for eternities. From a business seller who makes alot of money to a brainlet like you, buyers will buy if theres a return policy, and they rarely return. Get with the industry standard or perish.

Ebay is garbage because I can get my money back?

Yeah returns are only like 10%, its not that bad.

ebay suffers from merchants not bothering to use it much to sell
the more rights consumers have and the less merchants have, the less they want to use ebay

The returns policy really isn't that bad. You just need to adjust how much cash on hand you keep for your average rate of returns / volume.

Lol there have always been returns, even if your listing states otherwise. If you were a true seller, you would know that a customer can easily get their money back by claiming "item not as described"

>> No.10249182

my customers never return anyways and even if a couple did every year I wouldn't even feel it

What? Why force people to do this? If someone wants a 30 day return policy, they should buy from a seller who offers it. This shit doesn't make sense for a lot of items.

It's all a numbers game, I get hundreds of dollars in return every day but hardly affects my bottom line since I sell thousands every day. If a buyer wants their money back they are going to get their money back depending how much effort they put. The best thing you can do is discourage it in the best place. Example, I tell my buyers "IF there is anything wrong with your product contact us and we will provide technical support". I never straight up mention they can return for any reason.

I had a bastard buy a collectible from me. He sent it to Oregon then reshipped it to China.i got insurance and sent it priority. Tracking never said delivered but at day 25 I get a item not as described return request. Pictures showed a broke item and ripped up box. Then I look and notice it isn’t my item. Dude replaced it with a broke one and claimed a return.

I wa like nah man obvious fraud. I replied to him and then escalate it after 3 days. I showed the pictures he sent and my packing photos, detailng the fraud.

Some pajeet fuck no English speaker replied and said oh, we’re just going to have them return it and then bill you. Look at the fucking pics dude.

Now he’s gonna keep my collectible and I’m assed out a shit ton of money.
