Ok so battle plan for tomorrow. SPY took a major hit after testing a high today. Merger with Albertsons on August 9th. Albertsons will not have been a publicly traded company prior to the merger, so despite RAD having lackluster numbers it is going from being worth 2.3 Billion to 24 Billion. I sold my shares early June and am just waiting to see what happens. I have no clue whats its gonna do, but people have argued both sides. That merging would be to hard for the drastically different companies, but some suggest that they could improve their own supply lines and secure more exclusive deals together.

Of course the deal could fall through or different competitors could make offers, I really have not kept up enough to know exactly how many variables are on the table.

Thats definitely interesting. The idea is real estate is overvalued and that what merits as a "good investment" will culturally change. Check out CAT and T, they're at good buy-in points right now, should be an easy 10%-20% gain on both of them. If NOK drops below $5 then it's a strong buy IMO. I like swing trading IAG from $5 up to $6+ anytime it hits $5.

Just find some stocks that seem to trade in a range and/or routinely fall back to some predictable support and then bounce 10%-30%. Put them on a watchlist or set price alarms for when they're getting close to that support and then make a decision on whether or not you want to trade it that time around.

I'm not a momentum trader i look for value and dollar cost average. Most people look for the big volume but at that point it's too late to get any real big gains imo... i want to be in before the large volume. i want to see when volume dies, whether it be on top of a trend or at the bottom.

You shouldn't have all-in'd with money that you weren't prepared to lose... I do honestly use RH as my savings account, but I have an income and a few grand in checking to cover the next couple months rent
I also go lower risk on most of what I have in RH, sticking to indices or BRK.B type shit
