It’s not a green text story, it happened. High school sweet heart, started working and saving at 17. Built a small rental empire, hurt my back at 29 so I went to school for engineering. Was supposed to be the deal anyway when she was done with school. A few months after she finished as I’m finishing my last math class and finally just have engineering classes left I get the “I love you but I’m not in love with you” speech.
