Are you interested in shorting futures while going long on spot or things like that? Otherwise don't worry much about it, BVOL is an index that tracks volatility that has already happened. Sell volatility to get rich slowly and poor quickly, Buy volatility if you want to be rich quickly and poor slowly. The most sensible time to increase your levels of risk is at the start of movements, not at the end and this chart kind of helps.
